For the Bride and Groom

We’re still in wedding mode. Last week we attended the bridal shower for our daughter (the artist who created the illustrations in Motherhood). Although, bridal shower would not be the correct term. It was a Bride and Groom shower. We had lots of fun, and I think it was the first time my husband ever attended such an event. It was a beautiful day, and our daughter’s friends, that gave her the shower, were most gracious in opening their home to us, and for the care they gave in planning the afternoon.

It was held on my son’s birthday, yet he and his new wife were not able to attend. They had just returned from their honeymoon in Hawaii, the night before.
