It's a happy Mom that gets to see her grown up children

This mom was happy to get the chance to visit her two children. When your kids are all grown up, and move far away, it is a special treat to get the opportunity to spend quality time with them.

Hubby and I took a car trip, first to Sacramento to see our daughter and her fiancé. We spent two days with them, just visited, hung out, and played a fun game called Mexican Train. Our daughter was so sweet, made us homemade meals, and stocked the pantry with all kinds of goodies.

Then it was up to Portland Oregon, to see our son and his fiancé. They showed us the area, including their wedding site (we will be heading back to Portland mid-July for their wedding). We enjoyed late night happy hour, and took some great photos. It was pretty cold and wet, but we still had a wonderful time.

If I could see the kids every few months, would be a happy mom!
